The ALTUSEN SN0108 is a eight-port serial console server.
This document covers the setup and testing of the ALTUSEN SN0108 console server unit in the context of a Linux environment. The testing
attempts to ensure that the unit will function as advertised when used with the Linux OS.
All testing of the SN0108 console server was done in a mixed OS environment.

Keyboard: IBM standard keyboard
CPU 1, Generic Pentium IV 2.4GHz, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive for Linux distributions.

Testing Results
The following table provides the pass/fail result for the hardware as tested in this system by KeyLabs.

| Notes: All four distributions worked after systems were configured to use their serial port as the console.

| Notes: Boot loader menu must be defaulted to output console to the serial port.

| Verify the continued functionality of the connected CPUs when running different operating systems on one or more of the connected CPUs | PASS |
| Notes: The console server showed no adverse effects when switched between the various OSes and remained functional.
